As you may have heard, the Governor announced that NJ public libraries can reopen starting July 2, at 25% capacity. We are very eager to see all of your smiling faces again, Middlesex! However, as of now,the building will remain closed to the public. We will continue with our Walkup/Pickup service, in addition to our myriad of digital and remote offerings.
As a highly trafficked and visited staple in town by so many, it is our duty to make sure measures are in place to allow the entire community, especially our most vulnerable, to safely reenter and use our facilities and materials in a responsible and health conscious manner. There are many new considerations and procedures that we are working on with municipal and statewide health and government agencies in order to provide safe and effective reopening services for our patrons and staff.
While the Library we have all know may be changing, our unparalleled commitment and dedication to serve our Middlesex community and beyond remains steadfast. Please keep an eye on our social media and website to hear the most up to date reopening announcements. As soon as we are ready to open our doors in a safe and protected manner with Covid-19 in mind, we will be shouting it from the rooftops!
